Phase II - Grants to Schools
The goal of the Oklahoma Education Technology Trust (OETT) and the Oklahoma:
Achievement through Collaboration and Technology Support (OK-ACTS) Partnership
is to improve student achievement by developing professional learning
communities that incorporate technology in their work.
The OK-ACTS Partnership consists of state and federal partners representing the
major administrator and teacher organizations, Oklahoma Education Technology
Trust, Department of Career and Technology Development, State Department of
Education, Southwest Educational Development Lab, National Science Foundation,
Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the University of Oklahoma.
Participants should submit action plans that (a) reflect at least 3 of the 10
practices of high achieving schools; (b) demonstrate an integration of
technology; (c) develop a personalized, caring-enriched learning environment;
and (d) encourage participation in a collaborative network designed to
strengthen practices within the school and to share best practices among schools
and districts.
