Who can participate in OK-ACTS?

800 Oklahoma lead principals and head superintendents meeting application and program requirements. Assistants, Counselors, Federal Programmers, and Directors are not eligible to participate in the grant.

Why should I join OK-ACTS?
    
4 Each participating principal and superintendent receives:
    
4 A laptop computer, and: Learns ways technology can help move your school towards research-based
          “best practices”
    
4 Training to improve your technology skills and to organize your school data to make better instructional decisions
    
4 Access to a network of principals and superintendents collaborating and problem-solving the challenges of
          integrating technology and systemic change
    
4 Access to the OK-ACTS web site featuring current literature, links, and upcoming opportunities to further your
          skills in technology integration, systemic change, and collaboration
    
4 Access to a “cluster coach” – a practicing principal or superintendent who will facilitate your training and serve
          as a resource as you implement the practices targeted in the training experience.

Is there a cost for OK-ACTS?
The registration fee is $299.00. Billing will occur upon acceptance into the program.

What is the deadline for the application?
Applications must be received in our office three weeks before the seminar. If accepted, you will be contacted with registration information.
